Pirojpur district is not rich in factory factories. Large industrial factories have not been developed yet. A large part of the population is engaged in farming. In this district, Kawhali Loban played an important role during the Mughal and British era production. There were 4 salt mills in the district. At present, mills like M / s Palli Salt Industries, Massaman, Nesarabad are in operation. At present, there are 167 plots in the BSCIC industrial town, out of which allotment of 144 plots, allocated industrial units 99, production units 59 and 26 plots are allocated for the allocation. According to 2002 data, 114 units of industrial units distributed in self-employment projects through small and cottage industries in Pirojpur district. The poverty alleviation project, which has been taken in Bhandariya by income generating activity, has 144 of the industrial units distributed.
A textile mill construction was started in Pirojpur Sadar upazila long ago but it has not been implemented yet. The only BSCIC industrial estate in the district has been established in Kourikhara of Nesarabad upazila. There coconut sours from Paphos, Rope and Chobra areas and meet the country's demand. According to many, this chowder industry is 100 years old. In 1966, the Government of Pakistan established an industry named 'Kare Industries' in Nesarabad upazila. After the independence of Bangladesh, the organization went into privatization. Currently the organization called 'Rana-Rabbi Industry' is underway. The modern factories in five industrial areas of Chhobra have been established in this industrial area. Currently the place of Chhodara is gradually taking possession of plastics and foam. Small industries of Chowda, Hogla, Chabbunan and Jalbunan have also been developed in Bhandaria upazila. There are three four dock-yards to build small and medium-sized vessels in Nesarabad. Doc yards have been established at a government level and the rest are in private ownership. Notable vessels are made from this place every year.
Kaukhali has a cooperative-based cooling project. The cooler rails were widely sold inside Bangladesh. In the Nesarabad, iron nail and hand-operated weavers prisons and established by the local Kamaras have been established.
Bamboo cane handicrafts have been established in Mathbaria. Besides, there are small scale industries such as rice mill, flour mill, sawdust, ice cloth in the district.
A well-developed and notable place in the newly formed Zianagar Sub-district Parerhat. Here the largest fish hats of the district are located. The total production of fish in Pirojpur is 2,930 metric tons.
