Tourist traditions of Pirojpur district
Rayerkathi zamindar house: A historic zamindar family was established almost 350 years ago. His position is just three kilometers away from the district town. This landlord was built in Raj Bhavan, Nahabatkhana, guest house, theater and numerous temples. In the Rajbari there were about two hundred and fifty large buildings. Of them, 40 or 50 public kisses were made of Rajbari. The Kalimandir was built in 1658 at Zamindar's house. Here is the Shiva Linga of about 25 souls. It is the largest pilgrimage in the sub-continent.

Saphleja Kuthikarabari of Mathbaria Two hundred years ago when Englishman Perrier Kaspersa Mathbaria, the wealthy Farajullah of the area gave him 14 bighas of land. Kuthibari was built on 14 bighas of land. Purna festival was celebrated every year at the end of the Paush month. Then the people used to celebrate the Festival. During the partition of India in 1947, the British left Kuthibari. Kaspersar was named after the name of the village of Sapleja in the name of his father, Shila. |

Ancient Mosque of Pirojpur: Pirojpur Central Jame Mosque was established almost 200 years ago. In 1882 Hafiz Mohammad Solaiman, the founder of the mosque of Uttar Pradesh, was the founder of this mosque. The mosque was built with a Golpatha gown by purchasing nearly 20 percent of the land in the heart of the city. The mosque built on the goalpost was promoted gradually to the palace in the middle of 1894, with the financial help of devout Muslims. The tomb of a man named Yasin Sardar is now located inside the mosque. He was one of the Khadems of this mosque. |

Mamin Mosque of Mathbaria: The Akon Ghar situated in the village of Burirchar on the northernmost north of Mothbaria upazila. In the front yard of this 200-year-old traditional house, about a hundred year old traditional Momin Mosque Made of complete woodwork, this mosque is a wonderful artistic exhibit which is a new architecture built in the composition of Indo-Persia and Europe with its own basic excellence. The mosque is unique in Bangladesh as an art work. So to preserve it, the Ministry of Culture has listed them as "reserved archaeological resources" in the notification issued on April 17, 2003. |
